Meditation

Meditation is when we quiet the mind and relax the body.

It is essential at the early stages of spiritual development and throughout your life as a medium. Although we must realise that meditation alone will not turn us into mediums.

When you meditate on a daily basis, you will find that you are able to deal with the difficulties of the day more easily, you will be able to attune your mind to the rhythm of this world and look beyond into the spirit world.

In order to achieve a clear mind, you must learn to relax which in turn will help you to develop your psychic ability. Take time each day to clear your mind, never attempt to offer advise and guidance to people using your psychic intuition if you are not completely relaxed and have harmony in your life at that moment in time.

Different types of Meditation

Focused meditation - on an object such as a candle flame or crystal.

Visualization meditation - in which you imagine going on a journey or meeting a spirit guide.

Guided meditation - in which you listen to a pre-recorded tape or CD of a meditation.

Transcendental meditation - in which you continually repeat a mantra.

Buddhist meditation - in which you observe the inhalation and exhalation of the breath.

Meditation is the tongue of the soul and the language of our spirit...
