The Archangels
Archangels are the overseers of our planet and all that happens here, directing groups of Angels as well as humanity.
Sometimes called the princes of the Seven Heavens, although there are references to twelve Archangles in some literature, i have listed five of the most commonly mentioned.
Michael
Known as 'Who is as God' - Angel of the north!
The Archangel who defends the weak and protect those who are facing dangers of any sort.
Tasks - To protect those who face difficulties along their pathway of life, Michael can bring us patience, motivation, ambition and protection as we move forward to personal empowerment.
Gabriel
Known as 'Man of God'or God is my strength' - Angel of the west!
The Archangel of creativity and the arts.
Tasks - To bring hope, justice , creativity and intuition to the greater consciousness of mankind.
Raphael
Means 'God has healed' - Angel of the south!
He is the Archangel in charge of the physical body, of healing, health and longevity.
Tasks - To bring love, joy, light and knowledge into our lives,
Uriel
Known as 'Fire of God' - Angel of the east!
The Archangel of the planet earth and all who inhabit it.
Tasks - To ensure constant, cyclical change in our planet and our lives, also to bring about universal cosmic consciousness.
Metatron
Formerly 'The human Enoch'
He is the Archangel in charge of the Akashic Records - The book of life.
The first Angel to be created from a human being, said to be the most powerful of all Archangels.
Tasks - To help with relationships, careers, children and spiritual gifts.
